In 2012 Tirebuyer had outgrown the beta MVP and needed a full re-design. The Tirebuyer Genesis began as an experiment within American Tire Distributors [ATD]. ATD - The nation’s largest tire distribution company - backed the project to explore the business to consumer market. After testing the MVP as an extension of the ATD brand, they found that the research supported TireBuyer as a stand alone E-comm solution. The Founder (David Wall) was picked as part of the launch team and were key stakeholders in the relaunch.

Almost immediately after the launch of, we realized that we needed to be mobile optimized in order to be competitive. Beating our competitive landscape to a mobile solution would be highly beneficial. As a result… TireBuyer went from a virtually unknown entity to a key disruptor in the B to C online market.

The founder stayed with TireBuyer for the next 5 Years as the SR level UX architect for the company and helped to lead the company to it’s strong current standing in the market place. While the founder left to explore his own opportunities, he has remained in good standing with TireBuyer and has even come back to work with them on various assignments. We are proud to celebrate their continued success with Tires, Wheels, and accessories. Est: 2009 | Backed by ATD (American Tire Distributor (largest tire distributor in the United States))
