How Sticker Mule has helped our clients

WHO IS STICKER MULE?

Sticker Mule offers a fast & easy way to buy custom printed products.

I can’t remember how I first came across Sticker Mule however, however, we have used them a lot with our clients. They aren’t just fancy stickers either. Sticker Mule offers a lot to any small business or organization looking to capture the edge over the competitor.

Sticker Mule is powered by a fully remote team and operates in 17 different countries with worldwide shipping. They provide free online proofs, free artwork help, free worldwide shipping, blazing fast turnaround and 24/7 customer support. In addition to stickers, they offered labels, magnets, buttons, packaging, t-shirts & more.

For our small digital marketing company - this was perfect!

Here is how we used them with some real life clients!

Motorcycle/Scooter Repair Shop

One of our first projects involved helping a friend of ours open a motorcycle garage in Seattle WA. He had decided to open the garage during the pandemic but knew he would do ok because there was little else to do in the area. Motorcycles and scooters were showing up a lot more because it was an easy way to get around, we live in a scenic area, and there was little else to do for entertainment during the lock-down.

We also had a good idea that he would be successful based on the fact that the closest scooter repair shop was an hour out of the way.

Once we finished his website, we looked for ways to do some marketing and let people know where he was.

We first created some stickers that he could hand out to clients when the job was done. These often ended up on helmets and scooters which caught the attention of like minded individuals and help expand the reach of his brand. The stickers were so popular that we also decided to see if T-Shirts would sell and had Sticker Mule do some samples that we could test market. The T-shirts were beautiful and a total hit. He sold out of them pretty quick and Sticker Mule allowed us to quickly fill in short orders.

Miller’s Meat Market - General Store & Butcher

When Miller’s Meat Market first approached us, they had a static web page that they were not happy with. They wanted to be able to sell merchandise online but didn’t know where to begin. We flew out to visit them at their location in the foothills of the Western Adirondack Mountains. After touring their location and learning about this family business, we were ready to get to work.

We started by building them an eCommerce website so they could start shipping product locally and, potentially expand to national delivery. Once we got everything going, we asked them to test ship some product to us in Seattle. The first thing we noticed was that there was no branding or marketing materials of any kind in the packages.

Rather than printing up a bunch of boxes, we turned to STICKER MULE to get some packaging tape & mailers. We didn’t stop there….We also created some fresh sheets that were included in each of the boxes that went out. Each fresh sheet featured products of the month and directions on how to re-order through the website. OF COURSE - we didn’t want people to lose the fresh sheet, so we also included a fridge magnet with the logo, website URL, and phone number printed on it. Customers could pop that fresh sheet on the fridge with the magnet and never have to go looking for it. It also was a constant brand reinforcement.

Thanks to these products and the new eCommerce website we built, Miller’s Meat Market was able to increase online sales from nothing, to an easy 6 figure annual income.

Brew York Music Festival

Yet another one of our East Coast customers leaned in to ask for some help in marketing their music festival that happens each year. Again, we called on Sticker Mule to do some of the heavy lifting for us with posters, stickers, and promotional buttons. The client was so happy with the service that we set them up with their own account and now Sticker Mules takes care of all their promotional posters.

Learn what is possible…

We’ve worked with so many amazing companies through the years and our connection with Sticker Mule has allowed us to really impress each of our clients.

From Politicians, to artists & musicians, from entrepreneurs to small business, Sticker Mule has been our go to agency to get us to the finish line and open our clients up to what is possible.

Fashionista & Artist - LAWILTBANK

The final example for this blog will bring us to the ever talented artist & fashionista Lennon Wiltbank. Lennon knew of our work through partnerships with past clients. After booking some pretty important art/fashion shows, we connected to talk about growing her presence even further. She now needed a location where people could schedule meetings, order product, and discuss events.

Lennon didn’t want a business card because it felt too corporate. We had designed a poster for one of her events that included a positive affirmation and her photo on a red background. She liked the poster so much that she asked if there was a way we could turn this into a sort of business card…But without being an actual business card.

We suggested stickers might be a really fun way to direct people to her website and also give a nice takeaway from one of her events.

We went to work converting her promotional poster into a sticker that she now hands out at galleries, fashion shows, and art walks.

Lennon continues to work with us and Sticker Mule is a key part of that. We are even about to place a huge re-order for her because the stickers disappeared almost immediately after her last art walk.

Conclusion? Sticker mule came through…

So - I know this reads a bit like a giant advertisement - but these are all real stories from happy clients that love us and what we were able to do for them. We legitimately use this company regularly! I also believe in sharing our techniques with small businesses that need help growing… but might not know where to start.

Many of our clients are looking to sell stuff online and market their company. Sticker Mule has allowed us to quickly and affordably present a large array of options to our clients with little effort and low cost. Normally, a short run of T-shirts is very expensive, but with sticker mule, you can order a single shirt and test it out with your audience, without going all in on a commercially printed option.

We use them all the time to introduce new shirt designs to clients. For those that suggest it would be cheaper to superimpose a design onto a stock art model, I will tell you that it is not the same. People are used to seeing stock art and we notice when something is fake. Our brains have become really good at spotting things that aren’t quite right.

With sticker mule, we don’t have to invest a lot into an idea - We can order a shirt and do a photo shoot with our model and we end up with ORIGINAL CONTENT for our website & social media, featuring REAL PEOPLE wearing REAL PRODUCT. This has proven to increase trust, brand recognition, website SEO, and, honestly, It just helps us convert our customer base.

Stickers, labels, packaging & more

When a customer orders something online, the anticipation and emotional connection begins the minute they press “BUY”. Your clients are looking for the package in the mail, on their door step, or in the mail room. A blank brown simply can not create the type of brand recognition, excitement, or positive emotional response that can be created by seeing your logo or branded mailer. Further more, When your logo is on a sticker, keychain, poster, or t-shirt, it continues to work for you long after it has left your hands.

Overall - What Sticker Mule offers is a quick and easy way to share your brand with your audience, while also standing out from your competitors. Go the extra mile and see how it pays off overtime. Check out Sticker Mule and get everything you need to set yourself ahead of the curve, from a one stop shop. It makes a difference….
